Many business owners are skilled at building a company, delivering quality service, hiring key personnel and growing the enterprise, but not prepared when it comes to business succession planning.  Successful transitions require careful planning, effective communication plans and realistic assessments of expectation.  This presentation offers suggestions on how advisors can identify their vision for the future of their business, establish priorities and outline the steps they need to take to create a realistic business succession plan and successful retirement.

Garrett Taylor is the President of Advisor Successions. Garrett has brought his extensive experience to guide financial advisors with both acquisition and succession planning. Over the past ten years, Garrett has helped to facilitate successful transactions for financial professionals looking to grow, merge, and sell their businesses. Garrett has had multiple speaking arrangements with various firms. Garrett holds a B.S. in finance from Penn State University with a certificate in macroeconomics in money and banking.
